Umbra Lab

Umbra Lab is an aerospace company based in Santa Barbara, California creating a constellation of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellites. As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern in Summer 2023, I designed new fixturing for assembling the satellites and assisted engineers in building and testing satellites 7-10. The most gratifying parts of this internship were seeing how the fixtures I designed improved the technician's workflows, and watching the satellites I worked on go to space.
